Does this really count as a secret? The code for every single Sonic 3 object is present in Sonic & Knuckles alone, it needs to be because if Sonic 3's code was used all absolute pointers would screw up. You can force Sonic & Knuckles alone to run pretty much anything which is there in Sonic 3 alone, and the code will function, but it'll just try to read non-existent data. It certainly doesn't prove anything and is just a side effect of the way lock-on was done, so I'm going ahead and removing it from the article. Feel free to revert if you want, although I think I've made my reasoning quite clear. --Shobiz 20:00, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

"Game Secrets" are more or less interesting tidbits based on stuff in the ROM. All you've done is explained why it happened, but it is still a secret in direct relation to Sonic & Knuckles, in-game, without lockon--Tails is not normally accessible. Therefore, the inclusion of such information is warranted. Reverted. --Tweaker 20:53, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

Weird things that have happened to me when I try to do S&KA from S3&K (and 1 from Sonic Delta)

1. Game crashes. 2. Pressing Start / Start + A brings me to S&K alone with S3&K stuff. 3. Spamming A + B + C brings me back to S3&K title screen but with all emeralds. 4. (Sonic Delta Only) Weird invalid Sound Test thing in options menu. Playing it crashes the game. I get 1, 2, and 4, but I don't know how 3 happens. I assume because Sonic 3 (and probably S&K and S3&K) was built off of Sonic 2, that SOMEHOW the variable concerning the Sonic 2 All Emeralds Code is toggled to on, but that would only make sense if it was only Chaos Emeralds. But I got ALL the emeralds, Chaos AND Super.
