Sonic the Hedgehog: The Official Movie Novelization is a paperback novel for 8-12 year olds. It is a novelisation of the Sonic the Hedgehog film.
The novel takes some liberties and has some differences from the plot of the film. Some of these differences are pieces of information not explained in the film, such as Longclaw's background, why Sonic was hunted by the echidnas and what is the name of Sonic's home planet (Mobius).
