Sonic Golf DX (ソニックゴルフDX) is a 3D golf game for mobile phones. The game features Sonic and friends playing Golf. According to Sonic Channel, this was meant to be a significant upgrade from the 2006 game Sonic Golf 3D. Like the previous versions players can upload high-scores to a national scores table. This game was re-released and enhanced for Sonic's 20th Anniversary in 2011, which returned to its former name Sonic Golf 3D due to it's stereoscopic 3D support. The 2011 version of the game came preloaded on CA-01C devices and is currently the only version preserved on the internet.

Gameplay

You can play as Sonic, Tails, Knuckles or Amy through a 9-Hole course. There are 3 modes: Stroke Mode, Challenge Mode, and Extra Mode; Stroke Mode lets you play a normal match of Golf, and Challenge Mode challenges you to get the golf-ball in the hole without moving from your original spot. You can score a multitude of things, just like the original Golf: Hole in One, Albatross, Eagle, Birdie, Par, Bogey, Double Bogey, Triple Bogey. Each character has a different difficulty rating.
