Review - Sonic the Hedgehog CD is a four page review of Sonic the Hedgehog CD in the October 1993 issue of Mega. The last page makes a odd comment as it refers to there being 24 basic levels. But with each of the game's seven levels having 3 acts each only 21 are accounted for. Could this be a reference to R2, the missing level? It's probably because the magazine had a copy of the game with the level select in it which references R2.
The game winds up receiving a 9 for graphics, 10 for sound, 8 for gameplay, 8 for game size, 8 for addiction, and a 89 for the overall score.
