LeapFrog Enterprises is an educational toy company based in Emeryville, California. LeapFrog designs, develops and distributes various learning products for children of the infant through grade-school age. It was founded by Micheal Wood, who at the time couldn't find products to help his child develop his reading skills. After its foundation, LeapFrog has gone on to create a number of software titles covering subjects such as phonics, reading, writing, and math. They have also created products such as the well known Leapster Learning Game System and the similarly themed product called Didj.
