HyperShadowDC first joined the Sonic 2 Beta forums in November 2001. He is considered by some to be one of the most controversial members of the Sonic scene. He is believed to be the first openly gay member, and quite often flaunted it with his flamboyant signatures. Most commonly the True Love Knows No Bounds line of signatures. He has been banned by all the major sites at least once, despite the fact of his popularity among the staff of the websites. He is also one of the three founding members of SSonicNet, despite the denial of this by the other two founders.
At one point in time, HyperShadowDC was a tech admin for Sonic CulT in late 2004-early 2005. This position was later revoked for uncertain reasons.
HyperShadowDC was an admin at SonicAnime.NET and SonicXAnime.net
He is currently enlisted in the US Army for an uncertain period of time, hence his absence from the community in general.
