Game Preview - Sonic & Knuckles is a five-page preview of Sonic & Knuckles in the October 1994 issue of "Mean Machines Sega" magazine. It covers some of the games new features and the new playable character, Knuckles. Interestingly, on the first and second page it talks about a rumored "deluxe version" of Sonic 3, no doubt a reference to Sonic the Hedgehog 3 Limited Edition. The final page also mentions a port of SegaSonic the Hedgehog for the Sega 32X.
