Didj custom learning system
From Sonic Retro
The Didj custom gaming system is a handheld game console that was released in 2008 by Leapfrog Enterprises. It was released approximately the same time as the Leapster 2. The Didj has not only two shoulder buttons and two face buttons, it also allows for the use of a stylus and has a USB port. Since the console was released by Leapfrog Enterprises the software is strictly of the educational variety.
The inclusion of the USB port allows for a certain amount of customability in games. With the USB port it is possible to create custom characters with the online "Didjerator" and replace the main character with it in certain games. Players can also download custom lists of problems, math skills, spelling words, and language art skills and use it in their games. Using the Learning Path feature on the official website also allows parents to track what their kids are learning in the game.
