Cheat Codes
These are cheat codes which can be accessed by inputting button sequences or by various other methods.
Cheat Codes, All Versions
- Level Select: When turning on the Game Gear, press
, and then press start when Knuckles picks up the third gem in the title sequence. Select your character, and then the level select will appear.
- Sound Test/Time Attack: At the Title screen, press or
and "Press Start" will change revealing the new options.
- 3D Stage: On the Japanese version Sonic & Tails 2, press or and the "Press Start" will change revealing the new option.
Game Enhancer Codes
These are cheat codes that can only be used with game enhancer devices. Support for these codes is available in most emulators.
