Possible Way to Reduce Size of Omnis

I know this has been discussed briefly before, but what if there was a way to shrink the Omnis to just the name of the Omni, and upon clicking it, would reveal the entirety of the Omni? An example of what I mean can be found here at the bottom of this page: [1] I think this would be very nice, and if people wanted more info on the game, they could click it and reveal the Omni. --RGamer2009 16:53, 5 December 2010 (CST)

Eh, I like it the way that it is. Recall also that browsing newfags might not themselves realise that all our pop-down clickable things are actually pop-down or clickable. I know both me and nineko had problems with the dropdown editing menu we used to have; adding an extra layer of complexity is not a good thing. Frozen Nitrogen (Talk) 17:48, 5 December 2010 (CST)
Uh, no? Sorry but you're wrong, I love the dropdown editing menu, and in fact I am still using it. Don't put words in my mouth, please. Nineko 18:45, 5 December 2010 (CST)
I thought it was you. Maybe it was Overlord then. I SEW SOWWY (>_>) Frozen Nitrogen (Talk) 19:18, 5 December 2010 (CST)
Don't worry about it FN. You are kewl and smart, and don't worry about putting words in my mouth either. Nineko 19:20, 5 December 2010 (CST)
I've been thinking that it would make more sense for information in the omni templates to be at the top of the main article page, because often the next thing I'll navigate to from a main game page would be something in the omni box. It makes sense to have it at the bottom of child pages, but doesn't it seem like the game development or game secrets articles (for example) should be linked to somewhere near the top of a game page? --PicklePower 21:02, 5 December 2010 (CST)
The templates can cause issues with lower resolutions. I believe that SS or someone was thinking of turning some templates into drop-down ones, but someone capable had to be found to implement them. SOTI 03:34, 6 December 2010 (CST)

morphMaster Question

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but I was wondering how would you incorporate the code into another wiki? In the past I've tried copying the necessary code for it (originally on Encyclopedia Drammatica) into the Common.js, but it failed to work and I've tried it again recently but I'm not sure what's going wrong. --AinzX 11:17, 21 April 2011 (UTC)

You and me both, pal. They run on different versions of MediaWiki (or whatever it is, idk), so while all wikis may APPEAR similar to edit, they are in gact very much not and much of the cleverer code is non-portable.
We just have to wait as the general upgrade cycle grounds its slow way to pairity, I'm afraid. Frozen Nitrogen (Talk) 13:48, 21 April 2011 (UTC)
Actually, it doesn't have to do with different MediaWiki versions...I think the skin is set up to not include code from Common.js or Common.css. Probably for the better, as well. « PicklePower 02:27, 22 April 2011 (UTC)
It doesn't matter. I've figured out how to do it.--AinzX 17:21, 26 April 2011 (UTC)
